Thank you to everyone in our community and beyond that have contributed to our Book Blast event! Your support will help students take home as many books as possible, up to 10 each. In our quest to promote literacy and reading, every new book is like gold to be treasured!

We are excited to announce that this month’s AR Book Challenge Winner is Tyler Glenn!
Tyler is currently the school leader in earning Accelerated Reader quiz points, and we are so proud of his dedication to reading and learning! He won a new 998 Pro Drone with a video camera and remote control, donated by Loud Librarian LLC.

Book Blast Day 5!

At Barbour County Elementary School, we are excited to launch our Book Blast on Monday, February 9. This literacy initiative is designed to help build our students’ home libraries, strengthen reading skills, and support long-term academic success both inside and outside the classroom.
We are reaching out to invite local businesses, churches, and government officials to partner with us by sponsoring our students. Every dollar donated goes directly toward purchasing books and educational resources for our students and teachers. Your support helps place high-interest, age-appropriate books directly into the hands of children in our community.
