Let us start the year by getting our students excited about attending school! Studies show that chronic absences create āeducational gaps,ā which hinder student success. Throughout the month, we will discuss the importance of coming to school with some fun-filled activities! We encourage you to have your child wear BLUE on Fridays to show school pride and their passion for attendance!

Weāre excited to invite all of our wonderful grandparents to join us for a special Grandparentsā Day Lunch at Barbour County Elementary School!
Come spend some quality time with your grandchildren, enjoy a delicious meal, and create memories that will last a lifetime! Whether itās sharing stories, laughter, or just enjoying a fun afternoon together, we canāt wait to see you here.
